After losing her father to heart disease, owner Diana Merkel has been committed to supporting the American Heart Association (AHA) as they continue to excel in research, awareness and the prevention of heart disease. We have continued to brand the Go Red Luncheon and Heart Ball for three consecutive years, and are honored to be involved in a cause that is literally, close to our hearts. In 2017 we continued our relationship with the AHA team by creating an invitation suite and supporting program for the event’s big night, the 2018 Heart Ball.

The Strategy

This year, the American Heart Association wanted to create an eye-catching set of printed materials for their event, that felt bold as well as elegant. We hit the ground running with design and print inspiration, brainstorming with AHA every step of the way to establish the overall look and feel. When it came to production, our main challenge was to propose print techniques that would not only hold up to this years’ design, but also be cost effective.

The Outcome

Utilizing their signature red color as a focal point, we pulled together a save the date, invite and program. Heavy weight paper selections and foil treatments lend to this year’s more elegant feel, showcasing the accomplishments and triumphs of AHA in one bold package.

Awareness and Generosity come together in incredible ways at these events. It’s such a powerful feeling and we’re proud to participate.
